2009/2010 Summer Studentships with Plant & Food Research

Why not launch your career with us - New Zealand's newest Crown Research Institute!

Excellence Program logo

We will create a special "career experience" for high calibre candidates. Our unique programme includes a full induction training day, a career planning session identifying potential pathways, a specific research project - designed for you, as well as a final farewell and awards function.

If you want to get a taste of research and gain hands-on work experience over the summer period, a studentship with Plant & Food Research will give you the opportunity to undertake research that benefits New Zealand whilst working alongside world-recognised scientists. Your time as a summer student with Plant & Food Research will give you that first key step in starting your research career.

Remuneration

You can earn up to $139.73 gross per day (depending on experience and year of study).

Applications are open now to all Science focused undergraduates, graduates and Masters or PHD students. All applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand (citizens, residents, work permit holders).
